AMYC 2011 - Melbourne

We arrived Melbourne a day earlier before the camp and we decided to stay at Prince Mark Inn. It's like any other ordinary motel that you live in (maybe a little worst). The only thing I hate about this inn is that it does not have a lock for the bathroom. What is someone's bathing and all of a sudden another opens the door. How awkward is that!!! Haha, when I was showering I was so scared if someone opens the door. LOL.

Me and Jenn! We went out to the cafe nearby to have lunch since there is hardly any food stalls near the hotel. It was kinda boring at the motel because there was nothing interesting for us to do. So we just stayed in the motel and rested/watched television the whole day. I think I slept for a while because I was sick :(

First time eating Kebab. I know.. Surprisingly, it was nice! You can clearly see that I don't like to eat/can't eat a lot of stuff. In the kebab, there's only lamb, chicken, lettuce and barbecue sauce. Haha, I don't like onions and all the other toppings they had. The sauces looked dodgy as well :/

For dinner on the other hand, we went to the bistro just next door.

My brother and I shared a dish - Chicken Supreme. I didn't like it at all. It was so buttery :( :( :( and the chicken was hard. haha. the only thing I ate was pumpkin and rice and a little bit of chicken.

Next morning, we went for Sunday service at a school. The entire service was very long because they had to not only introduce new pastors but also to say goodbye to those that were retiring..

After that, the church bus took us to the campsite and we were the first to arrive. Since we had nothing to do, some of us played pingpong/frisbee/basketball..

Woke up early the next day for morning devotion as well as breakfast.

We decided to decorate the flag with our hand prints. Its so colourful! Tbh, I actually quite like our flag!

That night was the first time I've eaten melted marshmallow! I know right!! Haha!.

To following day, we woke up early as usual - devotion and breakfast.

During the breaks, each groups either will complete their flag or create a war cry. Haha. My brother took this picture:

After that, we had a theme talk on Purity in Relationships. Haha, it was interesting. Haha.

In the afternoon, they had games and I didn't take much photos because I thought that I would either drop my camera or that I wouldn't have the time to take them. However, I stole some pictures off facebook! Haha.




Both the Chinese congregation and the English congregation get together for the games.

It was very emotional during the worship session that night. Something happened and everyone was thankful that no one got hurt. We also had a theme talk as well as a long prayer session.



After the prayer session, we had a competition on our chant. The aim is to complete your chant and pass to another group within a time limit. If you are unable to do so, you are OUT. Haha.


We were announced that Habakkuk's the winner! YEAH! 2 YEARS IN A ROW!

Haha! Ben's face and pose. He always calls me shortie just because he is so damn tall! I was laughing so hard at all of the advantages of being tall that he said. Haha! But seriously, he is so damn tall -.- I complained about his facial expression and pose.. He replied me 1. because I'm too short has to bend so much hence, the awkward pose. 2. His face is too handsome that he needs to make an ugly expression so that it would balance out. WHAT IS THIS!

Joshua! Him with his 1 second rule. He said that if you drop your contacts lens, you can reuse it (without rinsing it) if you grab it within the time frame. HAHA! He said, for each colours there are different time frame. He said purple has 2 seconds and so on. HAHA
