ITS CHINESE NEW YEAR!!!

I CAN'T BELIEVE THAT I'M MISSING OUT ON ALL THE FUN! It's not really a huge thing in Australia. We don't even have fire crackers/fireworks since it's illegal to bring them to Australia. So, it was really quiet the entire night. I didn't get to see any pretty fireworks :(

To add on to my miserableness, I still have to go to school even on the first day of CNY. There isn't any visiting as well! Only some of my parent's friends came and that's about it.

WHY OH WHY? :(

Its okay, since I'm with my parents. My brothers are so lucky since they are not only able to eat good food, but also see my cousins! I have not been celebrating CNY in Malaysia for about 4 years? At least I met my cousins during my trip back!

The Bitter Sweet Day

Hey guys! Jeanette will be blogging with me today! She's staying over my house for two days to celebrate Chinese New Year together! YAYYY!

WE OWN THE SAME BRACELET! HOW COOL IS THAT!?

I bought it from Kuching while she bought it in from Singapore! Such a coincident!!!

We went shopping in Garden City and we were so lucky that majority of the things are on sale!

Love this maxi dress! It's very hard to find for a maxi dress for me since I'm shorter than the average height. LOL. But this dress is just nice! And the quality of the dress is pretty good!

Next stop is at Supre!

I love this romper! I love choosing daring colours now a days and I have been wanting to purchase a bright blue colour clothing. The only thing that I dislike about this dress is that the strap is too long, making the neckline too low.

I also bought this red romper from Supre! Not bad not bad! RED WINE!

By the way, I lost my phone in Ally! It was super scary! I remember having my phone when I was picking the sizes.. To cut the long story short, after all the hustle, I finally found my phone. Guess where was it.. -.- It was like inside the dress! Like the tube part of the dress! LOOOL! Thank God.

In the evening, we went to Southbank to watch... THE DARKEST HOUR! It was goooooooddd!

Our Long Lunch Break!

Hey guys! How ya all doing?

The other day, me and a couple of my friends decided to go to the city for lunch since we have a super long 4 hour break in between our classes. But before that, we accompanied one of our friend to the bank. We waited for him for ages! Haha, plus both me and Jeanette were hungry since we didn't eat breakfast beforehand :(

After that, we walked around the city and we saw this man!:

I'm pretty sure that majority of you guys have met him if you always go to the city! He is the awesome man that does pretty cool magic tricks! Haha!

He asked me to hold two sponge balls!! Haha! I was like "What if the magic trick fails? Will it be my fault :("

I held it for quite a long time! Haha! My hands were really sore! Haha!

He was like preforming the "4 Aces" trick.

Then, he told me to hold them with two hands. Haha!

:'( My hands were super sore already and his face was like.. I DON'T CARE! BAHAHAHA! LOL.

But it was super cool! I clearly saw him placing 2 sponge balls into my hand.. I was the one holding it and he didn't place anything at all!! When I opened my fingers, 5 BALLS CAME OUT!! IT WAS SO COOL!

He's a really nice guy! He was like, "A small thank you and a smile would mean so much more to me than 10 or 20 cents". If you do pass by him, remember to check his performance out!

After all of that, we went to Hanwoori for lunch! On the day, they only serve buffet :( So couldn't recommend them nice dishes. But it was still delicious!

We made a surprise birthday party for Ai after IES! I think she seriously had to clue about it at all because she was completely shocked to see the cake.. She was speechless for such a long time! Ngaw, glad that you liked it!

Initially, Yumico and Troy bought the cake.. When they came out of class, they realised that they have forgotten to buy knifes to cut the cake! Haha.. So me and Jeanette went to the stall next door to buy them. We ended up buying spoons instead of knife because Jeanette suggested that we could use the handle of the spoon to cut the cake since we need spoons as well. Haha! Smart smart.. Haha!

IES January Plus Program

Hey guys, this post is just to introduce to you guys some of the friends that I've met in IES (UQ Foundation). So far, I'm getting along pretty well with them! I really enjoy my time in IES! The students are nice and so are the teachers! They are really really helpful! Majority of my friends in IES come from China. Haha. There are some from Taiwan, Hong Kong, Japan and Malaysia.

Jie Yu - the girl that I always hang out with in IES! She's the first person that I became friends with during the orientation day. She's Malaysian too! Haha.

On the last morning in KL, we woke up really early to do some shopping.. And this is what you get for waking up early. The shopping mall doesn't open until 10.00 am.. Sucks aye, even the food court :( so we had to wait for a while!

Bintulu 2011

Yes I know.. I traveled to so many places during last holiday TT.. I went to Miri, Kuching, Bintulu, Sarikei, Sibu and Kuching..

Haha! I went to Bintulu to visit my grandma (from my mother's side). I cried so badly when she left Miri the other day. She was the one that took care of me ever since I was born. She was the one that watched me grow.. (Man, I'm crying now..) That day, when she left Miri, I was just so sad to see her growing so old with her leg problem. :'(

Kuching 2011

I have not been to Kuching since forever. Each time we celebrate Chinese New Year, its either in my hometown, Miri or in Sarikei.. It was hardly in Kuching. So it have been ages since I last visited. First of all, I would like to thank my beloved aunties and uncles for taking care of me throughout my visit. You guys were so awesome! Sorry if I have created more trouble for you guys!

When I first arrived Kuching, aunty Siew Ying asked me what I wanted to eat for supper. I said..

The next morning, aunty brought me to try Kampua as well as Mee Kolok. I never knew the differences between the two until that day.. Haha. I thought there were both the same thing.

First time eating Kuih Pie Tie! It was yummy. The inside is basically the feelings of popiah..

Friendship Park

Hours before leaving Kuching, Aunty Andrea brought me to one of the most interesting park I've even been - Friendship Park. I'll explain why I thought so later in this post. So keep reading!

This is one of the main enterence into the park. Doesn't it remind you of China? LOL

A resting place for joggers and other people.

Haha, this symbolises the friendship between Malaysia and China.

Zheng He statue. Apparently the statue was shipped from China. Wow, imagine how much the shipping fee, time and effort would cost China.

Guess what's this?

It's a wishing well! Its been so long since I last saw a wishing well. If I'm not mistaken, the last time I saw a wishing well we in Melaka and that was ages ago..

This is for sure Sarawakian made. Haha. It's also a resting place.

This is the second main enterance from the other side of the park.

This is a statue of a bird (Hornbill) which symbolises Sarawak!

Apparently, this is a HUGE ROUND marble that is also shipped from China. Haha! How heavy would that be!

"友谊万岁" which basically means "Friendship Forever"

The cat on the other hand symbolises Kuching. If you don't know Malay, Kuching is cat in Malay. My aunties would always say, "Even though our state is called Kuching, we hardly have any cats here!" which is kinda true. Haha. Why did they call that state Kuching anyways?

Okay. So the reason to why I said that this park is one of the most interesting park I've ever seen is because it basically tells us a story. Half of the park shows us China while the other half shows us Malaysia. The ship with Shen Zheng's statue on it symbolises him leaving his country (China) to Malaysia. GEDDIT :D COOL AYE? They also pay attention of small details such as the trees. Half of the park has bamboo trees while the other half has palm trees. Each of the park represents their own country!

I think that it is a great place to have a walk if you feel stressed or even whenever you want to get some fresh air. I really really love the design of this park! If you do have time, make sure you visit it :)

Alex's Place

Alex's place is one of my super duper old squash buddy's restaurant. I think we know each other for almost 6-7 years? Haha, knew him when I just started squash. Yeah, that's a long time. Anyways, the restaurant is located on Green Road, just opposite the Shell station. It has a very huge "JAZZ" word on the building.

Crab Meat Fried Rice. It was super delicious! Haha, if you love spicy food, this is a great dish to order!

Mango Toufu! A very unique dish. Also quite nice! Its like sweet, sour and spicy. Haha.

They made us Tang Yuan especially for us! Haha! Thank you!

Thank you Jess! I would definitely visit back your restaurant when I go back Kuching! Keep in contact, my old squash buddy! Haha

The Junk

The Junk is a very famous western restaurant that is located in Kuching. It is open from 6.00 pm till 12.00 am everyday except for Tuesday! Me and my aunty went over on Tuesday night but sadly it was closed. We were so excited about going to that restaurant.

Fish and Chips. Not too bad.. The only thing that I didn't like was the grated cheese on the fish. haha! You know me... I hate cheese.

LOOK HOW BIG THEIR SERVING IS? It is "suppose" to be for one person. I saw a couple of people eating just one plate on their own and I was thinking, if that was me, I would faint. Haha.

Grilled Chicken Wings. It is very special cause it didnt have any bones. They removed it before cooking it, making it easier to eat!

Same proportion. Imagine four of us trying to stuff everything in. TT we were so full after that!

Its been ages...

... since I've met my squash mates in Kuching! (obviously because I don't live in Kuching, so I wasn't really able to catch up with them). It has already been 5 years? 6 years? Man, that's a really long time! Since I'm already in Kuching, I took the opportunity to meet up with them! Haha, I was really excited to see how's everyone been! Well, some of them have grown ~~so much~~ taller. Sigh, why am I not growing as fast as them! Oh well. Haha.

We met up at the Spring in the arvo and watched Mission Impossible 4. Initially, it was a little awkward because we haven't met each other for such a long time. Haha, but I was alright with Flora since she always keeps in contact with me \♥/. Haha. Luckily, or else I would be alone cause there were also some other people that I've never met before. Bahahaha! But we were alright in the end. Haha..

JESS TAY! My buddy when we were so young! Haha!! Its been so long. We used to be around the same height when we were younger. Now... HE IS SO TALL. #lifesunfair.

Told Devon (right) to take a picture, but they ended up laughing like crazy! Its because of the focus effect that my camera has. sot. Haha. In the end, I just use my 'pro' camwhoring skills ;)

VIVIEN YEO! I know her the longest out of all of them. The first time I met her was in KL. It was the first time I had a squash competition. I remembered my first impression of her - wow, so tall. Haha! Man, we used to be close last time! Haha!

After dinner and all that, we went for Kbox. Haha, very sudden decision! I was only in there for like half an hour only! But I had a great time with them!

Pure Fish Ball Cafe

A couple of days ago, my aunty brought Janice and I for supper at Pure Fish Ball Cafe. From the name of their store, it is pretty obvious that they specialise on fish balls.

The setting of the restaurant.

They have like a "seafood buffet" where customers are able to pick what type of seafood they want with their dish.

I love this aloe vera drink! If you have a meal there, make sure you try this drink!

This is what the restaurant is known for - Pure Fish Mee.
I think it was a pretty interesting and unique dish! It is basically fish balls made into a mee shape! It is ideal for like old people (my grandpa loves this) since it is not oily or a heavy dish.

After church, Aminah gugu said that she would bring me around shopping. After walking for a very long time, I couldnt' find anything that is suitable for me. So we went to Home Desserts for.. desserts... LOL! (Btw, is it just me or now a days, the pants that the shops sell now are super duper short. Like. No joke.)

Meet My Best Friend

I realised that I have never properly introduced my best friend to you guys!

Adeela's a Malay and her age is the same as mine. She is the third child out of her six sisters - she doesn't have a brother at all! I've known Adeela since Kindergarden because our parents know each other. We became closer in Primary 1/2. Even though I migrated to Australia for about four years already, we are still best friends! We sometimes contact each other through emails but the replies would be slow because we both are busy with studies and other things.

So just the other night, I went over her place just to catch up with her. We talked for like 3 hours straight, telling each other our problems and other secrets! Haha.

I also want to congratulate her on becoming the head girl of SMK Chung Hua Miri! (Pretty obvious that she would get the position. Buahaha!)

Sarikei 2011 - Out and About

On the way to Sarikei! We bought Wu Ca Kueh (I don't know how to spell it...) and other food to snack on during our trip. I love this kuih! I had been craving it since I was in Australia! Seriously, the ones that are sold in Australia are not fresh, chewy, expensive, and it taste different. In Australia, the whole entire kuih is like hard and crispy, but if you try the kuih in Malaysia, its like crispy on the outside and chewy in the inside. PLUS, it is fresh and also hot since you can just purchase them while they are making them!

After the long 6 hour drive, we went back to our grandparents' home to have a rest. Then, for dinner, Ah Pui koko brought us somewhere to eat. The most shocking thing that I heard from him was, "Who is this" *points at me*. Ouch. Okay, I have to admit that I changed a lot since young. When I was asking my older cousins, which one's me (from the old family photo that we took together), none of them guessed it right! :(

Dinner was delicious, but the thing is, all of the dishes were so big that out of seven dished, we only finished 1 dish - which is the soup. Haha. #fail. This is because aunty told them that there are 8 people eating, which is true.. but then, not everyone eat the same amount.. So we ended up tabao'ing' it. Haha.

Yes, that's how big one dish is.. Imagine seven other dishes that are of the same size.

Next morning, guess what I ordered..

KAMPUA! THE NUMBER 1 MUST EAT DISH WHEN YOU ARE BACK IN MSIA! Haha! They said that that restaurant's kampua is very nice so I decided to try. Not bad not bad :)

Then, we went around looking for high heels for me because I didn't bring any and I need them for during the wedding day.

I like the little kid's hair colour! Okay, that's not the point. The oldies were playing chess without the board. Haha, they drew the board onto the table! So creative!

We walked around the entire Sarikei and in the end, bought the pair of shoes that we first saw. Haha, there were so many funny things that happened when me and Rinai were looking for shoes! We also realised that Sarikei is such a small city... Like very.. small... Haha..

They are kids shoes! Their biggest size was 33 which fits me. So bo bian, bought them.. Actually, after looking at it for a very long time, I actually quite like them.. Haha..

In the afternoon, we were waiting for our other cousins from Kuching to arrive.. When they came, the first impression I had on them was: Wow, they are so tall and skinny. They are taller than me even though they are younger... And that moment, I knew that everyone would be comparing our heights. It's okay.. I'm used to it :( Haha!

At night on the other hand, we decided to celebrate my grandma's birthday since majority of the people are here.. Except for my family :(

That moment was the funniest moment! Aminah gugu said something in foochow (it was baby language in foochow) and all of us (in the picture) thought she said something really really rude.. In addition to that, she repeated the same thing three times! We all kept laughing till we were crying.. Aminah gugu don't even know what is going on. Haha! But hey, that's what happen if you don't learn foochow. The entire conversation can go wrong. Haha. AND do realise that I said ALL OF US thought that, INCLUDING AUNTY ANDREA! So it wasn't me alone..

Bahahahahah, sorry Ah Pui koko.. I also kept laughing because of this. I can never stop laughing whenever I put my camera onto fish eye mode. This is the only decent picture I took because I kept laughing, my hands werent steady. Haha.

After lunch. I kinda like this picture too! Haha. Yes. It is obvious that I'm standing straight while they are bending down. Rinai doesn't count! She is older than me!

In the afternoon, we decided to go to Sibu since the uncles are sending Aminah gugu to the Sibu airport.

We went to Tanamah Hotel to wait for out friends. Rinai went with her friends while the other two followed me.

Went to look for Ben. I told my cousins that the first thing that he would say to me is shortie. And it turns out to be true. Sigh. haha

They brought us to Parkson.. haha.. speechless. They all said that if you go to Sibu, the only thing you can do is eat. But we just came back from lunch! Haha, so in the end, we just sat and talk. haha.

On the last day, we bought some Kompia and other bread/food that was very popular in Sarikei.

Sarikei 2011 - Ah Fook's Wedding

The reason to why I went back to Sarikei this year was because my cousin (from my dad's side) is getting married! Haha! I was told to become their bridesmaid 2 nights before the wedding. Initially, it was supposed to be my cousin's role. However, my aunty was saying that I should be the bridesmaid since my cousin experienced it before too. Haha, so in the end, I became the bridesmaid. Without further ado, here are the pictures that were taken!

(Majority of the pictures that were taken were by my cousins as well as their girlfriend which means that you will have the opportunity of seeing what happens to both sides of the family.)

Me and my aunty and uncle! Haha, my aunty is so playful and funny!

While that happens, the bride prepares her make up as well as her dress.

She also have to give her parents tea to express her thankfulness for raising her up.

After a while, the groom as well as his friends would have to drive to the bride's hotel (because that was where she was staying) to pick her up.

Along the way, my cousin and his friends would have to play some games in order to "gain access" to see his bride.

So for the first game, the guys would have to choose the different envelope and follow the yoga poses that the picture shows.

After that, they would have to put on lipstick by themselves and write I <3 U on the paper that was provided using their lips.

Baby koko was not able to take part in this event because he's allergic to lipsticks!

It's actually pretty good! I like the heart! haha

Then he would have to sing Bruno Mars - Marry You. I KNEW IT! Haha! I think it was kinda obvious! Haha

The next stage: 酸甜苦辣。(sour, sweet, bitter, spicy)

If I'm not mistaken, that's lime juice. Haha.

Then, they told him that he would have to give them RM999.99 (If I'm not mistaken, it was money, not the number of red pockets. Don't remember.)

Haha, he got everything ready already! Haha

The very last thing that he had to do is to shout "I LOVE YOU, AH CHOO" in 10 different languages. Haha.

Ngaw, they are so sweet!

I realised that I hardly smile in these pictures. I don't know why too. Haha

It was kinda hard at first to hold up her entire dress because it was so long and there was too many layers. But after a while, I think I got better at it.

Getting down the stairs was the hardest! I was trying to avoid stepping on her dress! But I think I stepped on it like twice TT Sorry.. Haha

They drove around Sarikei once before going back to the house.

They had to bow to the elders. I think it was to show respect to them as well as the eldest approval.

HAHA! IT WAS A CANDID! Ah Di koko's girlfriend took this picture. I only realised after she took the picture :( but at least it was a nice candid. I hardly have any "nice" candids. Haha

After that, they had to go to the room that was prepared.

After that, they had to drink tea in the room so that in the future, they would always be kind and loving to each other.

They got little kids to jump on the bed after that. I think majority of you would know the reason even though you have never experience this before!

It is so that they would have children in the future.

Then the children have to urinate in the red bucket so that the couple will have a baby boy in the future.

After completing my task as their bridesmaid, I went back to change into my ordinary clothes because the dress was very uncomfortable. Initially, the dress was for my cousin because they didn't know whether I will be back from Aus by the time or not. So then when they decided that I should be the bridesmaid, they made some changes to the dress. That is why the dress is a bit long. Haha.

My aunties were like, "Angie why so serious. Smile la"

In the afternoon, we had a wedding lunch. There were so much food! I was full on the 3rd dish!

It was so quite during the lunch so then we (Rinai, Me, Janice and Eunice) were shouting for them. It was very funny haha.

Uncle SuChung's Birthday

In the afternoon, uncle called me and asked if I want to join them for dinner in Brunei. but unfortunately, his friend's flight got delay, so we canceled it. So we decided to eat in Miri.

I quickly bought a cake from Hot Cross Bun. Haha. I didn't know his age so I got 5 big candles and 10 small ones. Then when I went back to the pharmacy, I asked Rachel how old is her dad. Haha! Smart right me ;)

For uncle SuChung's birthday, he brought us to Mr. Ho's Fine Food which is located next to Grand Palace Hotel. It is a restaurant that mainly caters Western food.

Uncle bought a bottle of red wine.

According to the bottle, it's from Italy? I don't know anything about red wine. LOL.

For an appetizer, we ordered salad which contains onions, tomatoes and cheese. Man, I really need to learn how to eat those things! The thing that I like was that they added pear into the salad which tasted pretty good actually!

I finished it but I wasn't drunk or anything (Y) But it was so bitter :((( Haha.

This is my favourite dish out of all the dishes that we ordered. Its so crispy while the inside's not overcook (Y) The gravy is also very tasty!

Special Malaysian Laksa

First off, it is special because they added heaps of extra ingredients like 3 layer meat, mussels and others. Even though I love laksa, I have to say that, it wasn't that delicious compared to the other dished. It was kinda blend.

Then I decided that it's time to eat the cake. I told the staffs that uncle does not want any song played or anything special. Just bring out the cake and done. While we were chatting, suddenly the lights went off and we thought to ourselves, oh no. They are going to sing. In the end, they did sing. The whole staff members were singing while the manager (I think its the manager) brought the cake to us. Haha, everyone in the restaurant were clapping for uncle. Haha. I think the staff members thought "Ah, dia tak mahu dengar muzik, kami nyayi la." LOL! Haha! It was so funny!

We were on the way to Lygon Street to find for places to eat. There were so many food stalls around! The level of competition is so high! I'm not even joking. There was once where the owner was questioning us, "Where are you going!!!!?" when we said that we were going to check on other stalls. And he kept persuading us to eat at his place. I was scared so I left and went with my brother. HAHA! He looks so fierce! Apparently Lygon Street is for Italian food. So those of you who are interested can go there to have a look!

Haha! This was so funny! Adwin, Malcolm and Nathan was like "NOOOOO ONE DOLLAR!" *points at the melted ice cream on the floor* So in total, we wasted $4.oo AUD. HAHAHAHA! IT WAS SO FUNNY!

After that we went back to the hotel cause it was freezing!

The next morning, we woke up early because we agreed with the guys that we would go to the gym with them. In the end, they ended up sleeping in. We initially wanted to go to the gym ourselves, but we decided to walk around instead. Haha

When we got back, the guys were still asleep and we decided to draw on.. Adwin's face! Haha! He didn't even realise until we told him.

We drew a total of 7 strokes and he didn't even woke up.. Haha.

Then we were hungry so we went down the IGA that is located just next to the hotel to buy some instant noodles to eat.

For lunch, we went to Crystal Jade!

To cut the long story short, we played a game during the camp and its called Angels and Masters. The angels are suppose to buy stuff/take care their masters without the masters knowing. It is only revealed at the end of the camp.

After shopping around, we went to a place that sells coffee and other snacks.

The waffle was yummy! Haha, I didn't eat much because I shared with with Joshua and Kevin. I was too full to eat the entire waffle TT

AMYC 2011 - Melbourne

We arrived Melbourne a day earlier before the camp and we decided to stay at Prince Mark Inn. It's like any other ordinary motel that you live in (maybe a little worst). The only thing I hate about this inn is that it does not have a lock for the bathroom. What is someone's bathing and all of a sudden another opens the door. How awkward is that!!! Haha, when I was showering I was so scared if someone opens the door. LOL.

Me and Jenn! We went out to the cafe nearby to have lunch since there is hardly any food stalls near the hotel. It was kinda boring at the motel because there was nothing interesting for us to do. So we just stayed in the motel and rested/watched television the whole day. I think I slept for a while because I was sick :(

First time eating Kebab. I know.. Surprisingly, it was nice! You can clearly see that I don't like to eat/can't eat a lot of stuff. In the kebab, there's only lamb, chicken, lettuce and barbecue sauce. Haha, I don't like onions and all the other toppings they had. The sauces looked dodgy as well :/

For dinner on the other hand, we went to the bistro just next door.

My brother and I shared a dish - Chicken Supreme. I didn't like it at all. It was so buttery :( :( :( and the chicken was hard. haha. the only thing I ate was pumpkin and rice and a little bit of chicken.

Next morning, we went for Sunday service at a school. The entire service was very long because they had to not only introduce new pastors but also to say goodbye to those that were retiring..

We were announced that Habakkuk's the winner! YEAH! 2 YEARS IN A ROW!

After landing in Miri, uncle and I was hungry so we decided to go out somewhere to eat. We went pass Parkson and decided to try out Station One.

I ordered Yestea because it was recommended in their menu. It tasted nice but it reminds me of the Jasmin Tea that is sold in bottles in Brisbane. Haha.

The chicken was tasty, however, both me and uncle agreed that the dish was a bit too plain. Overall I think that it is yummy ~~especially when you are very hungry~~.

Me and Rachel said last year that every end of the year, we would take stickies. I don't remember why we said that, but I think its because it just represents that we completed another year of IB. Haha. But I guess its my last year studying the IB! :( So we went to the city since we wanted to take stickies as well as this would be the last weekend that I would be spending in Brisbane this year.

Wow, its been ages! Haha, I used to go take stickies with friends especially since it was so close to my place. But it got closed down! :(

Hey QASMTers! How are you guys doing?! I have already told this situation to my close friends and now, I have finally have the chance to tell you guys that there is a very high chance of me leaving to another school next year :) If I do change schools, I will be studying in UQ Foundation next year. Majority of you do not know/never heard of the school before. It is basically a school that is for international students.. You can check out their website here for more information: Foundation Year. I don't think that I would find it hard to find for friends because I will be studying with some of my friends from Miri, Malaysia and some of them whom I already know here! Majority of them would be my seniors from my high school back in Miri. It'll be interesting! :)

And no, I would not have to repeat Year 11 like other students. This would basically be like my "Year 12". Unlike majority of the other students that would be attending this school next year, I would have to enter the school on the early January because I'm underage (I'm 16 and the school is for students at least at the age of 18). So which means that the school originally starts on 23rd of February I believe? Somewhere in Feb. MAN! I CAN'T ENJOY CHINESE NEW YEAR IN MALAYSIA! :( its okay, I will still receive angpaos :D Haha!

Finally yo!

I has been a stressful week for us Business students :( and today is the last day of paper 2 as well as the last exam that we will be doing this term! School's going to end in like a week and I would be travelling to:

Melbourne, Brunei, Miri, Sarikei and Kuala Lumpur! How awesome is that! I will have heaps of stuff to blog about this holiday! Especially since I have so much free time! :D

Woke up at 6 to get to school cause Rae said that she wanted to have breakfast at school (well, they said that they are going to serve breakfast for us - anticipated students. How nice right?

I wanna start having breakfast like this! Haha

Bahaha it was so funny cause she kept dropping food onto the table. There is this one time where she left her cornflake (with the package) into her bowl of milk -.- LOL. worst is that, SHE DIDN'T EVEN REALISE!

When to Garden City just for a walk and got some free Coke cans with our names on them!

I got one for my brother as well. Didn't get one for the other brother because he had one already.

Hey guys, sorry for not blogging lately. But I guess you guys can figure out the reason. I'm busy studying for business exam. sigh. I'm so tired. I've been studying Business for like the whole entire week as well as last week. Its like wake up → study business. lunch → study business. dinner → study business. sleep. so basically my routine is like that for the whole day. Didn't go to school because I don't think I would be able to study everything in time :/ Haha.

But anyways, this post is to say good luck to those students who are going to do their IB Business Anticipated Exams! GOOD LUCK GUYS! I hope that your preparations are almost done! Well, I finished writing notes and highlighting them.. I'm not sure if I will panic on the day and forget everything.. Well that happens to be all the time..

Hey guys! How are you all doing? Hmm.. I'm super duper tired from all of the study of Business and all those crap :( Other than that, I've got so much stress about life and all that. But I guess I should now focus only on Business.

Bahaha, I know I haven't been taking pictures with glasses anymore! I don't know why, but I decided to wear glasses today.

I have been so tired because I have always been sleeping late and I need like at least 8 hours of sleep, or else, I just wont concentrate in class. If I get more than that, I will get dizzy. LOL. and because of the lack of sleep, stress and not eating... I have a huge ulcer on my tongue. Well actually, I have about 3 but the other 2 are pretty small. At least it is getting smaller! But it hurts so bad :( I can't even eat properly.

Now, I can't even talk properly. Told my friend that I had a tongue piercing on my tongue and he believe it. BAHAHAHA, SO GULLIBLE.

I'VE WARNED YOU, IF YOU GET DISGUSTED PRETTY EASILY, DO NOT SCROLL DOWN!

Pho Hien Vuong Pasteur

As usual, after church, we would go out for lunch and this time, we ate Vietnamese food! Its been ages! We went to the usual shop that we used to go to eat: Pho Hien Vuong Pasteur. It is located in Market Square and I'm sure that majority of people would know where it is! It is always packed on Sundays (well, that's the only day I would eat there.. HAHA)

When you go there, the must eat is the Phở! Which is pronounced as "Fe" Pretty interesting! haha! It is usually a beef noodle soup that is served with mint leaves, lemon and beansprouts. However, if you know me, I don't really eat beef! I have nothing against it.. It's just the smell! Its so strong. I do eat them in some occasion tho. So it depends. ~~I'm so picky & that's why I don't grow.~~

Operation Christmas Child

IT'S MY SECOND TIME HELPING OUT AT THE OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD'S WAREHOUSE! If you know we well enough, you would know that I love doing these types of jobs! Its just so awesome! This year, I brought Rachel and Penny along with me. Well there is actually two reasons to this. First, we enjoy doing this, second.... we need.. CAS.. HOURS! OH GOSH!

Majority of you would know what Operation Christmas Child is. Well, for those who do not know, it an organisation that sends gifts to the poor children during Christmas! Basically, people would get a shoe box (or now, you can buy a box from Operation Christmas Child for only 50 cents!)

You might ask, what do we have to do if we want to send our gifts to the children? The following will tell you everything you will need to do :)

The following video shoes you the procedure as well as the "something" that you could pack into your shoe box :)

This video always makes me happy!

You get to see the children's face when they open up the boxes filled with love :)

In the warehouse, we would:

1. Check whether the size of the boxes are suitable (not too small, not too big).

2. We would open each and every one of the boxes to see whether there is "reject items" or if the box needs to be "topped up".

3. Then they would be taped so that the things would not fall out.

4. All of the boxes would be packed into a bigger box and it is ready for shipping.

According to him, this year, they've collected over 3,500 boxes! How awesome is that!
